Current Opportunities

CSM is seeking an energetic, task-driven, detail-oriented individual to support the operations of our affordable housing independent senior communities. The Assistant Property Manager is integral to the success of our communities and must have a passion for serving others.

This individual will support the low-income senior living communities in managing day-to-day operations (payroll, credit card reconciliation, new hire paperwork, reporting, etc.) and correspondence with managing partners (including weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports). This individual will also provide logistical and planning support for regional conferences/training sessions (including securing hotel accommodations and coordinating meals/reservations). Some travel may be required.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a team environment built around a common mission.  He or she must be efficient, and exhibit a strong work ethic and excellent written communication and organizational skills.   Proactive problem-solving skills and resourcefulness are a must!

Skillset:

  • Strong attention to detail and proven experience managing executive correspondence and preparing corporate documents/presentations (i.e., management reports based on submitted information).
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize duties without sacrificing quality or missing deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of learning new systems and processes (such as payroll, credit card reconciliation, and updating forms).
  • A commitment to treating others with compassion and respect.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Related office experience.
  • Senior living experience preferred.
  • Section 8 compliance knowledge preferred.

This position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, life insurance, and optional 401(k).  This is full-time, in-person position in our Home Office located in Roanoke, Virginia.

Scott Hill Retirement Community is seeking a full-time Service Coordinator.  This individual promotes comprehensive wellness among the entire resident population by helping to connect residents to the supportive services they need to maintain a healthy and independent lifestyle.  This is accomplished through general case management and referral services.  For example, the Service Coordinator may provide case management services as needed or help residents access blood pressure checks, exercise and physical fitness programs, and educational opportunities – without any charge to residents. 

The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic and empathetic, with an interest in subsidized housing and older adults.  Scott Hill Retirement Community offers paid vacation and sick time, optional 401(k) plan, and excellent benefits.  This is a full-time, in-person position.
