Design with Purpose

Join an established leader in senior living management and play a key role in creating beautiful, functional, and resident-centered environments across Virginia. From large-scale renovations to ongoing design needs, this position supports the aesthetic, comfort, and functionality of our independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities.

You will collaborate closely with our Executive Director of Interior Design, an NCIDQ- and IIDA-certified professional, gaining exposure to a wide range of renovation scopes and design strategies while contributing meaningfully to resident well-being.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage interior design projects from concept through completion, including budgets and timelines
• Oversee vendor relationships and coordinate purchasing and installations
• Collaborate and coordinate with onsite community teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Partner with the Executive Director of Interior Design on projects of varying scale and complexity

Qualifications:

• Degree in Interior Design or Currently a Degree Candidate (required)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (preferred)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proven project management experience

Community: St. Mary's Woods (Residential & Assisted Living)  Location: Richmond, VA

 

Overview
St. Mary's Woods, a reputable senior living community, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team. The DON plays a key role in ensuring a high standard of care for all residents by overseeing nursing operations, supporting staff, and maintaining compliance with state and local regulations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality resident care. Candidates licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) are welcome to apply.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team and Registered Medication Aides
• Maintain 24/7 on-call availability for clinical support
• Review and oversee staff scheduling
• Ensure proper documentation and accurate resident care records
• Comply with company policies and state/federal regulations
• Conduct assessments
• Complete Care Plans and participate in care plan meetings
• Participate in staff training and development
• Provide or delegate hands-on care as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

 

Qualifications

• Valid RN license
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in nursing management/supervision, direct care, and scheduling
• Prior experience in senior care is preferred

Director of Admissions

In this key leadership role, you’ll partner with our Director of Community Relations & Marketing to create meaningful connections with seniors and their families — guiding them from their first inquiry to move-in day. Every conversation you have and every tour you lead helps families find comfort, trust, and a true sense of home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and maintain maximum occupancy by implementing effective marketing, sales, admissions, and outreach strategies.
  • Oversee all inquiry processes, including phone and website leads, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Conduct engaging tours and, when necessary, home visits for prospective residents and their families.
  • Manage the resident application and admissions process in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate communication with department managers and families regarding admissions, move-ins, care level changes, transfers, and move-outs, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Ensure the community is always tour-ready, including model and vacant apartments, and support staff in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and oversee a comprehensive resident and family orientation program to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Maintain accurate records for leads, referrals, and marketing activities within the database; prepare regular occupancy and marketing reports for the Home Office.
  • Participate in the Manager-on-Duty rotation with other department leaders.
  • Attend required in-service training and continuing education programs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in sales or admissions with a proven record of achieving results (senior living or healthcare experience preferred).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external partners.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology, Medicare, Medicaid, and private or long-term care insurance preferred.
