Overview

The Executive Director manages the day-to-day operations of the community and serves as the leader of a large and diverse team dedicated to superb resident care.  The right person will guide and inspire their team to fulfill our mission of providing quality care for all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion.  He or she will be a fully engaged, highly motivated, and strategic leader.

The best person for this role will be a servant leader with excellent judgment and the ability to juggle many competing priorities with a calm and controlled demeanor.  People skills will be needed to work well with residents and families, vendors, and team members.  The Executive Director will direct their team in all areas of daily operations, employee engagement, and strategic planning.  He or she will be responsible for oversight of our assisted living, memory care, nursing care, and rehabilitation community.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the community in all areas of operations, employee engagement, and strategic planning
  • Oversee marketing team initiatives to maintain occupancy goals
  • Direct employee recruitment and retention programs in coordination with the Director of Talent Development
  • Establish effective and cost-effective physical plant operations
  • Manage the annual financial budget
  • Manage health care services and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Alternate weekend and holiday on-call responsibilities with Assistant Administrator
  • Make daily rounds to evaluate staffing levels and perform community inspection
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend in-service trainings for staff
  • Participate in resident care plan meetings
  • Other duties as assigned by the Regional Director 

Qualifications 

  • Current Nursing Home Administrator license
  • Previous senior living leadership experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and budget planning preferred
